Women Empowerment Mission (WEM) is a provincial level of organization based in Province no. 2 of Nepal. It is an autonomous, non-profit making, non-racial and non-political, Non-Government Organization established by the grassroots people (women) in 2008 A.D. It was formed to support in making the rural women as the center-point of development by development of awareness of women and empowering them. Women Empowerment Mission is committed in enhancement of social, educational and economic conditions of women, children and deprived section of the community. It plans to run multidisciplinary programs related to health and education with a strong focus on women and children. Our mission is to organize women, children, youths and other marginalized communities and groups against all type of social inequalities and injustice like Gender / Caste based inequalities, Gender based violence, child marriage, untouchability, etc. and help them to improve their health and economical status along with their awareness level. We hope to work for empowering them so that they would have adequate participation in the decision - making process and bodies and would be able to enjoy their rights.
