Provide Education to 100 Children of Bhatauliya Village
While I went to the Mushar community (One of the most poor and disadvantaged community in Madhesh of Nepal) in the village of Bhatauliya, I found childrens with little clothes, and out of education. Most of them even did not have source of fund for proper nutrition. Their parents are not able to provide school dress, and study materials to them. They don’t have money to provide their children to provide mid meals for their children for tiffin break in the schools. So the children feels humiliated as their friends from normal family brings their meal in tiffin boxes, on the other hand they are not able to study with hunger. I felt pain seeing their situation and thought of fund raising for their meal and education.

Women Empowerment Mission (WEM) is a non-profit organization established, lead and managed by women. The organization has been working for empowerment of women and girls since 2008.
Bhatauliya is a remote village of Mahottari district, in province no. 2 of Nepal. In a corner of the village there are about 60 huts made of hey, grass and wood & Bamboo. The community leaving there are called “Mushhar”, which is one of the most marginalized community of Nepal. They have lack of education and very little source of income. Most of them are landless and don’t have employments. Children in the community have very little clothes, and are out of education. Most of them even did not have source of fund for proper nutrition. Their parents are not able to provide school Uniform, and study materials to them. So WEM decided to manage for providing education to 100 girl children in the community.

Objectives:
Overall objective of the program is to improve the educational and socio economic condition of Mushar community. The specific objectives are:
i) Provide study materials to 100 girl children.
ii) Provide after school class for 100 girl children
iii) Provide school uniform to 100 girl children.
